wonderful and nice stay

i stayed in the front room on the first floor overlooking the street. the room was spacious and included a comfortable bed. i found a lovely little basket of goodies and a binder of local information. the bathroom had two sinks, a nice shower, and a beautiful bathtub complete with soaps and bubble bath.

the floors next door and above us were creeky. i was at the front of the hotel and heard road noise. i was wakened early on friday morning by a beer delivery.

the owner greeted us. they were so helpful getting our keys and showing us our room. the bed was very comfy and super close for walking to everything. i enjoyed the traditional scottish feel to the place.

i noticed the bathroom had a slight smell. it was not unbearable if i kept the door closed.

The room included complimentary goodies. It was a nice touch. the bathtub in the bathroom was beautiful. the location was very convenient. It was a quick walk from the train station.

the access felt a little different because the rooms are above the restaurant.
